McMinn's has been my go-to gross anatomy reference for years; and, it is the anatomy atlas which I have suggested to students and which I have incorporated into my Anatomy & Physiology classes for 20+ years. The dissections, annotations, and diagnostic images are all very well done; and they complement each other to support a modern and comprehensive understanding of anatomy.
While McMinn's is a must-have for medical students and physicians, I recommend it to nurses and other allied healthcare professionals and students, as well. In my opinion, anyone who is learning and/or needs to know human anatomy can benefit from having a copy of McMinn's in their personal reference library.
As always, reach out to a DRN Education advisor, who can give you individualized recommendations on when and how to best use McMinn's in your studies.
